How to use your iPhone or iPad or android device as a trackpad for your Windows 8 PC

Windows 8 is a gesture heavy Operating system that works best with touchscreens and PCs with specially deigned mouse and keyboard. So if you want a first class Windows 8 experience, you should better upgrade to one with touch support and/or specially designed trackpad/mouse/keyboard for Windows 8. Though, many of these trackpads don’t work ideally. However, if the upgrade is too far from your budget, you can at least do one thing, provided that you own an iOS or android device. You can download a trackpad app that recognizes Windows 8 gesturers.

iOS devices

If you own and iOS device, you can download a free app known as Gesture touchpad for Windows 8 from the Appstore that works just fine. Another App known as KyePad Plus can be used as a trackpad and keypad for almost any OS including Windows (no Windows 8 gesture support). Other than that, you can check out iTap mobile touchpad (no Windows 8 gesture support).
