Microsoft’s new outlook.com email service brings a lot of great new features to the table, but those who are concerned with account security would question the security features of this new service. So, we will have a very quick overview here to help you know what you want to know and save your time at the same time Open-mouthed smile .

  1. The maximum number of password characters you can use is 16.
  2. According to Microsoft, this limit will be increased but it will take time.
  3. Single Use code is a new security feature which eliminates the need for passwords. When you enable it, every time you want to log in, Outlook will send a text message to your cell phone that you will enter on the page to log in.
  4. Texts in your emails will not be indexed, to display relevant ads to you, unlike Gmail.
  5. There is no Gmail-like two factor authentication currently. But they will bring it in future.
