Microsoft offloaded 20% of its Facebook shares, says report.

According to an Associated Press report, intelligently enough Microsoft sold 20% of their Facebook shares Just before the social network’s public offering in May. They sold these for 249 million, which is 10 million more than they paid initially. Having said that, all that Microsoft owns in Facebook now, is a profit for them. They sold about 6.6 million of them and still own about 33 million Facebook shares, although there has been a huge drop in their value since the IPO.
