How to Set Up your Outlook and Gmail Email account on Windows 8


Setting up your Outlook.com account on Windows 8 to receive email is simple. Here is a stepwise guide for you. 
1. Open Mail from your Windows 8 start screen.

2. a) if you are using a non touch device (laptop, desktop), point your mouse to the right bottom corner of your screen that the menu shown here appears
   b)  if you are using a tablet, slide your finger from the right side of your tablet to the screen. The menu shown in the picture will appear.

3. Click on settings

4. Click on accounts

5. Click on add account

6. Select the account you want to add
7. Enter your username and password
8. Go to your kitchen
9. Prepare a cup of coffee.
10 . Enjoy, you are already done.

Note: To receive mail from your Gmail , you need  to enable IMAP access from you Gmail settings on its website (Gmail.com)
